Delegation of Australian Photographers Visits Beit Ommar

On Wednesday, January 5, the Center for Freedom and Justice welcomed a group of Australian photographers to the village of Beit Ommar. The group was taken to the Beit Ommar municipality, where they met the mayor of Beit Ommar and learned about Beit Ommar history and culture. The group was then taken to the area where the Freedom Flotilla summer camp was held.

The group visited the home of National Committee Member Mousa Abu Marya, where they discuss previous and upcoming projects of the Center about for Freedom and Justice. They then visited some nearby greenhouses, and learned about the Center’s plans to build greenhouses near the Karmei Tsur settlement. They were then taken to see the sites, and visited with local families to interview them and to learn about life in Biet Ommar. They discussed coordinating media and photograph projects with the Center, and talked about coordinating more delegations in the future.
