Beit Ommar Protest in Solidarity with Lubna Hanash

This Saturday’s weekly demonstration in Beit Ommar, which was once again attended by residents and Israeli activists who have been protesting against Israeli Occupation and Apartheid since 2008, had a special message against the arbitrary and illegal killings of Palestinian civilians. In particular, residents carried signs in support of Lubna Hanash, who was killed by Israeli soldiers who opened fire on her while she stood in front of the Aroub Agricultural College, just down the road from Beit Ommar.

The demonstration, which was held near one of the Israeli settlements built on Beit Ommar land-Karmei Tsur. Israeli soldiers immediately attacked the protesters, attempting to arrest an Israeli activist and injuring Beit Ommar Popular Committee member Ahmed Abu Hashem.
