The size of the land: 27 Dunums = 2.7 Hectares.
The location of the land: Near the Main Street (Road 60) and East of Karmi Tzur settlement. (In the middle of both).
Type of the land: Stood land, which means several families own it.
Name of the Project: Enhance Livelihood of Poor Families in Area C.
The Date of project started: On May 20, 215.
Expected length for the Project: 5 Months.
Number of Beneficiaries: More than 15 families.
Stages of work: three Stages.
Stage 1 include Building Retaining walls, install iron columns and putting the fence.
Stage 2 include Tillage the soil, Plant the land and establishing the pool.

On Saturday May 23 settlers from Beit Ayen settlement guarded by Israeli Army attacked the Palestinian houses near what so called “Israeli Farm” north of Beit Ummar. The Israeli farm is planted with many fruits including peaches, and the settlers claimed that there are Palestinian kids steal from this farm. So every 15 minutes a gang of settlers come to the farm, and if they see any Palestinians near it they will start shooting on him / her on sight.

Two jeeps and one large car and a large group of soldiers made an incursion into Beit Ummar tonight. In the beginning they were stopped near Mousa Maria’s house. He was sleeping when he started to hear shouts, noises. He woke up as he heard a soldier punch the door. Opening the window Mousa then heard the sound of the jeeps. HEBRON (Ma’an) — A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces on Friday at the funeral for his cousin in the town of Beit Ummar near Hebron.
Ziyad Omar Musleh Awad, 27, was killed by Israeli forces and thirteen others injured when soldiers opened fire on mourners at the funeral of Jaafar Awad, 22, who died at 2:45 a.m. Friday morning from health complications that rapidly deteriorated while being held in Israeli prison.
Medical sources told Ma’an that Jaafar had succumbed to the illness at the al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron.

Three Palestinians were shot and killed today by invading Israeli forces in the village of Beit Ommar near the occupied West Bank city of Hebron during a demonstration in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Seven Palestinians — including the three in Beit Ommar — were killed by Israeli occupation forces and civilians during protests across the West Bank in the last day.
In Beit Ommar, an Israeli sniper killed Hashem Abu Maria with live ammunition in the torso at around 3:15pm today.
Hashem Abu Maria “considered defending children’s rights as his purpose in life, not simply as a job,” says Defence for Children International-Palestine.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the town cemetery today, during the funeral of Badria Abu Maria, and throw gas grenades and sound grenades, causing injuries and suffocation to the participants. 31 citizens were injured, one of them seriously, a 15 years old boy Mohamed Ahmed Shehadeh Abu Ayyash, was shot in his head with live ammunition from a short distance and was taken to Ahlia hospital in Hebron. He is still in serious condition. While the historical snow storm that hit the central parts of Palestine as well as Syria and Jordan made for some epic snowmen, the storm, which we know caused a humanitarian crisis for Syrian refugees throughout the area as well as a catastrophe for Gazans left in flooded refugee camps without electricity or potable water, has also created an economic crisis for farmers in the Southern West Bank. Over 1 meter (3 feet) of snow fell in higher elevations, including Halhoul and Beit Ommar. These areas, home to fruit trees more fragile than the olive trees of their northern compatriots, were devastated by the storm.
