Activists Gather in Beit Ommar to Discuss One State Solution

On the evening of Thursday, June 16, about 35 Palestinian, Israeli and international activists met in Beit Ommar in order to discuss the formation of one, democratic, secular state in Israel and Palestine. They began by mentioning how the secular, democratic state is different from the bi-national state, because all individuals within it are equal before the law, regardless of their nationality, religion or gender. They also conversed about the importance of taking practical steps to envision what one state would look like.
