Kuwait, (Pal Telegraph) – The Palestinian struggle once again relates to oppression of others, this time the case is the murder of Trayvon Martin.

for those whom are unaware of Trayvon’s case, Trayvon; a teenager of African American origin was found on February 26th dead from a fatal gunshot wound in Sanford, Florida. George Zimmerman whom shot Trayvon tells the police that he had acted in self-defense, Zimmerman was armed with a handgun while Trayvon had a bottle of ice tea and skittles.

Arrigoni was an inspiring activist, and his murder is a crime against humanity and against the Palestinian people. It is the position of the Palestine Solidarity Project that his murder, and the murder of the Juliano Mer-Khamis 11 days earlier, serve the interests of the Israeli occupation. Those that executed these murders have allied themselves with the occupation, and against freedom and justice for all people.

Italian Activist Abducted, Killed in Gaza City

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — The Ministry of Interior in Gaza said early Friday that an abducted Italian solidarity activist was found dead hours after being kidnapped by radical Islamists.

The government in Gaza “condemns the heinous crime that does not reflect our values, our religion or our customs and traditions,” a statement from the ministry said vowing to hunt down those responsible.

Local sources told Ma’an that Vittorio Arrigoni’s body was found in an empty home northwest of Gaza City in the Mashrou Amer area.

HEBRON (Ma’an) — Soldiers at a flying checkpoint on Route 60 north of Hebron shot and critically wounded a Palestinian citizen of Israel on Thursday night.

The Israeli military said events around the shooting were unclear.

Security sources identified the man as 28-year-old Jalal Al-Masri, and said he sustained a bullet wound in his head.

Officials said the Israeli report was that Al-Masri disobeyed orders of checkpoint soldiers and was fired on.

According to reports by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the military is investigating the possibilities that the driver either did not notice the flying checkpoint, or that he intended to harm soldiers and sped toward it.

Ma'an News: Hebron Man Executed During Israeli Raid

During an arrest raid in Hebron which appeared to target Hamas men released from PA custody the day before, Israeli forces shot and killed a 66-year-old man in his bed, in what appeared to be a case of mistaken identity.

Arrested in Hebron overnight were Wael Al-Bitar, Majdi E’beid, Ahmad E’wewy, Muhand Neirukh, and Wisam Al-Qawasmi , all released from PA custody the day before, following intense lobby efforts from the detainees, who had been on hunger strike for weeks.

A sixth man released, Mohammad Suqieyah, returned home to Jenin and was not detained during the raid.
