PHOTOS: Palestinians destroy separation barrier in two West Bank villages
During the early hours of Friday morning, Palestinians in two Palestinian villages took part in a direct action to destroy parts of the separation barrier. In Bir Nabala, located on the other side of Route 443, Palestinians used hammers to break open a hole in the wall, while Palestinians in Rafat (near the Ofer Military Prison) cut through 20 meters of the security fence bordering their village.

Participants in the Eighth International Conference of Bil’in popular resistance that started yesterday and continued into Friday confirmed the importance of sustained popular resistance against the Israeli occupation.

JORDAN VALLEY (Ma’an) — Israel’s army on Monday declared the Jordan Valley village of Makhoul a closed military area, a local council official said.
Aref Daraghmeh, the mayor of al-Malih and al-Madarib villages, said that Israeli forces set-up road blocks at the entrances to the area to prevent anyone from reaching it, official agency Wafa reported.
Israel’s army is expecting Palestinian and international activists to visit the area to show solidarity with residents of Makhoul, who were forcibly displaced after Israel demolished their village in the northern Jordan Valley on Sept. 16.

HEBRON (Ma’an) — Israeli forces placed Hebron under a complete lockdown, causing traffic delays, after an Israeli was shot and killed in the West Bank city hours earlier.
Israeli soldiers closed the entrances and raided houses on Tariq Bin Ziyad and Jawhar streets, a Ma’an reporter said.
Soldiers forced males out of some homes at gunpoint and assembled them at a junction on Tariq Bin Ziyad street.
Near the junction, Israeli soldiers were also holding up an ambulance that was taking a woman in labor to hospital, a medic said.

On the 20th of May 2013 the Israeli occupation forces stormed Beit Ommar town and they were searching for something in the farm lands and houses using dogs and automatic machines “some of these house belongs to Jamal Hasan” the Israeli occupation forces were looking for his sons Rabe’ 17 years old and Malik 15 years that they are ex-prisoners and the house of Yaser Mohammad Zaqeeq looking for his son Ahmad 19 years old ex-prisoner, but the IOF didn’t find any of the youths.

On the 13th of May 2013 at 3:30am, a military force about fourteen soldiers stormed the area of Abu Hashem’s family, they searched the area by dogs for more one hour, after that the moved to the down town, while they moving before trapping the house of the former Mayor Nasri Sabarna they were shooting fire, tear gas and sound bombs.

Friday 26th of April the Popular Committee of Beit Ommar, PSP, members of the Women Committee together with international and Israeli activists organized their weekly demonstration near the settlement of Karmei Tzur.
The demonstrators had prepared one hundred balloons filled with helium. The activists made a parade, chanting slogans and carrying Palestinian flags and the balloons to the scene. Written messages with names of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails were attached to the balloons and released into the air.

On Sunday 21st of April, Manar Zawareh was released after spending one year in an Israeli prison, a statement issued by the Detainees’ Center in Bethlehem said.
The Center arranged an event to celebrate her homecoming and Zawareh called for the release of female detainees in Israeli prisons. She told the participants that there are fourteen female prisoners in Israel’s Hasharon prison and she described the conditions as dire.
