The combination is especially useful when your gaming platform changes but you still want Bluetooth for calls or media.

Arctis Nova 5X Review Analysis
Wireless modes for mixed use
The headset pairs 2.4GHz gaming with Bluetooth 5.3, and its quick-switch button is intended to make movement between game audio and calls or media straightforward.
That combination fits players who regularly move between a console or computer and a phone, while the supported platforms should be checked against the devices in your setup.
Battery and charging

USB-C fast charge can add six hours of use in 15 minutes, which gives a short top-up practical value when time is limited.
Presets, microphone and controls
The companion app’s game presets provide several tuning options, while on-headset ChatMix offers a direct way to balance game and audio.
The retractable microphone is designed for gaming communication; buyers who rely on calls in noisy or windy settings should look for environment-specific microphone information before committing.
A multi-platform fit with practical checks
The cross-platform dongle makes the 5X relevant to households with multiple supported systems, and the on-ear controls cover routine adjustments.
Before buying, match the dongle and wireless modes to the actual devices you plan to use, and consider whether the retractable microphone and physical controls suit your habits.
